AI Accelerator Homepage
Driving Adoption, Visibility, and Scalable Intake

Overview

To promote AI adoption across the enterprise and elevate the branding of our AI Labs efforts, I led the creation of an internal AI Accelerator Homepage, a centralized portal designed to intake AI initiative ideas, route requests, answer questions, and provide cross-functional visibility into all AI efforts in flight.

Problem

AI interest was growing rapidly across departments, but intake and prioritization were inconsistent. Teams were unsure where to start, who to contact, or whether their idea was feasible. Leadership lacked a unified dashboard to track pipeline activity, tool adoption, or the value generated by AI initiatives.

Solution

I led the end-to-end design and deployment of the AI Accelerator Homepage, which serves as:

  • A knowledge hub for AI policies, use cases, and approved tools
  • A conversational agent for live intake, guidance, and FAQ support
  • An operations dashboard for strategic oversight

Key Components:

  • AI Intake Agent: Users describe their initiative in natural language, and the agent infers:
    • Required AI capabilities (e.g., NLP, computer vision, RAG, agents)
    • Suggested next steps (build, buy, co-partner, backlog)
    • Prioritization based on factors such as advisor impact, revenue potential, and operational cost reduction
  • FAQ Agent: Answers questions about approved tools, governance contacts, or onboarding steps (e.g., “Which AI tools are approved for financial advisors?” or “Who owns AI governance?”)
  • PO Dashboard (for me and my analysts):
    • Tracks all user-agent interactions, web traffic, and intake form submissions
    • Groups initiatives by type (e.g., product, operations, marketing) and phase (e.g., under review, in-flight, live)
    • Surfaces prioritization rationale and provides data to support build vs. buy decisions

Strategic Impact

  • Created a single front door for all AI conversations, reducing confusion and decentralization
  • Enabled real-time routing to SMEs based on domain (e.g., legal, infra, data science)
  • Institutionalized initiative tracking and prioritization, allowing me to identify patterns, flag duplicative efforts, and surface high-impact proposals
  • Accelerated throughput for validated proposals by matching them with resources and a clear development path

Results

  • 3x increase in AI initiatives submitted within the first month of launch
  • 70% faster alignment between business and technical leads on initiative feasibility
  • Directly influenced roadmap decisions by quantifying initiative ROI potential
